About Meikko

Meikko is a California born and raised writer and folklorist who’s currently in graduate school and on a journey to becoming traditionally published. She loves to romanticize her life almost much as her books. She completed her MFA in Creative Writing at Mills College, her Masters in Folklore at UC Berkeley, and has contributed to the literary magazine 34th Parallel. Meikko loves to write characters who deal with conflicting desires, self-identity, and whatever else the world can throw them. When she’s not writing with her dog Cho at her feet, she loves trying new recipes, binge reading a juicy novel, or traveling the world.
